How do I know if your style is for me?  You want to document the everyday.  You want to preserve and share your story through images that honor authentic moments. You want to have photographs that are created in and around your home, or during an event or moment in time that holds meaning for you.

How do I know if your style isn’t for me?  You love posed photos, where everyone is arranged and looking at the camera. You like props, backgrounds, and matching outfits.  You want a photographer who will coach you on what to wear, will pose you in flattering ways, and will make your family look perfect. There are many excellent photographers out there who will deliver a better collection of images to you if this describes you!

Do you create only black & white images? No. I love both color and black & white images and will provide you with a mix. Check out my Galleries for examples of my color photography.

Will my photos be posted online?  I never identify or tag people in my photos unless I have explicit permission to do so. More details are included in the photo release, which is part of our contract.

Do I have to order products through you?  No. You will have the option to, and I will be happy to help you through that process if you're interested, but there is no expectation that you purchase products.

How does payment work?

I divide the fee into three payments: a non-refundable deposit to book the date, a 2nd payment two weeks before the session to confirm it, and the third payment is due after you've seen a preview of the images.  I understand that choosing me as your photographer would be both an investment of money and trust on your part, and I prefer to deliver part of the project to you before asking you to pay in full!
